After Work with Dad

Ususally for the first 5 minutes he's home from work I can't get enough of Dad...I'm SO excited! That quickly passes though as either he stops eating the snack I want or he falls asleep, and then I just want Mom again. Mom seems to get real excited though when I get excited to see Dad and she starts snapping pictures. So, here's the first five minutes Dad's home from work before he then falls asleep. -M

"Dad? Is that Dad?"

"Dad!"

"Play with me, Dad! Oh, and nice triple chin."

"Got your nose, sucka!"

"Sorry Dad, I know you hate that game because I tear your face apart."

"Hey hey, Mom! It's almost been 5 minutes and he's still awake!"

"Thanks, Dad, but now I want to go back to Mom."

"Soooo...see ya later then."
"Love you!"

"Yep...5 minutes, Mom. A little help here!"

(She actually ended up just sitting here quietly next to me for the next 30 minutes...VERY out of character)

"It's actually not such a good thing when Mom and Dad are fully awake...then they go and do something like this."

"This is not my fault...I was wearing a hat!"

Our Little Piece of Heaven at Eleven (Months)

Mae turned 11 months. Although the last few months have been challenging when it comes to taking her picture with a sign, we've managed. I guess she's getting older because she made this month much easier - the easiest since she couldn't do anything but lay there. -T

"Pink blanket. Sitting in this chair. Mom has a camera. You've got that sign behind me, don't you?"

"I knew it!"

"Fine...I'll make this easy on you THIS time...AAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

"Dad...check it...AAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

"Does everyone know I still do the fart face?"

"Hahaha...what else can I do?"

"Hey! Where'd that sign go?"

"Yea! That sign is gone! What? No Mom, I still can't walk!"

"But I can still do this!!!"

"And I would like to hold my own sign."

"Here's my slobber stamp guys...that means I'm done! Just one more of these monthly photo shoots, right?"

The Shed Complete (minus gutters)

The shed is done. Eventually we'll put gutters on it but we're not in a hurry. I could have moved stuff in it long ago, but there was just something about doing it once it was done, so that's what I did. We have more than enough room in it for things, but we figure the shelves will continue to fill over time and by the time bikes are thrown in there, it will fill up plenty. I gotta say, I love it...when I'm in the house I open the blinds on the back window often just because I like to see it out there. -T

There she is!

Let's take a look inside

This shot makes the shed looks huge I think

Since the ramp is a little steep I added treads

Still Cute and Entertaining

Mae entertains us. She's learning new tricks and new ways to make us laugh. It's not too often you film to get something fun on camera and she starts busting out all the other fun new things you have wanted to film as well. We got three of them in one, but broke them down into three separate videos. -T

Nice hair eating a stick

What is she diving for on the floor?

Loose ball baby!
"Hmm...do I eat this kind or throw it?"
She's very smart

Mae showing off all her new tricks

1) She does this weird eating thing where she closes her eyes and opens her mouth - widely

2) She plays peek-a-boo with US

3) She says "bye bye"
