The Breakfast Table
Who Has "No Pants" Now?
Mae wanted to put her pants on by herself. She is very smart, but this wasn't her best, or brightest, moment. -T

Gagas at Night
What's cooler than a 2-year old wearing sunglasses? A 2-year old wearing sunglasses at night! She gets mad when we don't wear our own "gagas" at night or at any time in the car. -T

Organizational Girl in an Unorganized World
So we have found that Mae likes order and organization. She doesn't like it when Anna eats because she doesn't like the "mess." You would think with a personality like that, our house would be spotless. I think she's still getting the hang of "neat," but for right now the order and organization will do for her. -T
She organized this drawer herself...okay, not really, but she keeps it in order instead of just throwing stuff in
Everything in its place
She doesn't just play with bells
She lines them up perfectly
Her animals sometimes watch her put dishes away...in a perfectly straight line of course
She's probably wondering why she's the only working
She's very helpful
How did this get in here? Okay well, this just looks bad...we're not bad parents!

Breaking Hearts
When I leave for work in the morning, I always give Mae a hug and a bunch of kisses and let her "tickle tickle" me. I even usually always come back for a second round of it (hence one reason why I'm late everyday). Well, one day I was in a hurry and I couldn't give her the full goodbye she wanted. I'm just grateful she loves her dad. -T
And her mother takes the poor girl's picture!
She just wanted 1 more!

Annalyzing Our 2nd Born
No, I have no interest in really analyzing Anna, but we do enjoy looking at fun pictures of our happy little baby girl. -T
Waiting for Dad to do something funy
I am very entertaning, what can I say!?
Waiting again...
It was just a joke I am SORRY! (Actually, this was a sneeze)
Looking for Mom
Happy to find her sweet mama
Whoaaaa...I don't even know
Happy Anna
Winding down
Ready for sleep

Checking in on the Girls
Let's see what the girls are up to... -T
Mae is drinking what looks like a really nasty drink (I actually think it's a fruit smoothie) and playing the part of Little Red Riding Hood or just wearing a hat. Moving on checking in on Anna...
...Anna is liking tummy time more than Mae ever did...and she shoots out less boogers when she does. Let's check back in on Mae the next day...
Okay, STILL being Little Red Riding Hood (or wearing a hat) and now eating HOT CAKES!
Questions About Pictures
Here is Mae, with her scraggly hair and eating plastic food. Often times I have questions though when I see pictures and for this picture my question is simply this...could our house be that dirty that we have spider webs growing on our rocking chair? -T
Because We Took Random Shots of Mae Too
So we always believed in the theory that it's harder to take pictures of your 2nd child than your 1st, not because you love them less or because they're not as cute, simply because the demands of two wears you out more and you just don't have the same motivation as the first. Once we had our 2nd kid, we still believed in this theory. So, this is just some random shots of Anna soon after she was born without the fun delivery marks. -T

Out of the Mouth of Babes
While reading ESPN the Magazine (that's my girl!) Mae came across a Geico ad. Her reaction? "Dada!" We thought it was just a one time thing. We would then randomly pull out the ad and ask, "Mae...who's that?" "Dada!" Everytime she sees this picture, somehow she thinks it's me. When Lindsey is working on something in the office, she doesn't even have to look anyore. When Mae says ,"Dada," she know she has come across another Gieco ad. Lindsey is more offended by it than I am. I guess it could be worse...actually, no I can't think of anyone else that would be worse that would remind Mae of me - maybe a female caveman...or this lady? -T

Hats Off
Mae normally likes to play with hats, but would rather they be off her head and not on it. However, she gets in the mood every so often to have them on and when she does...Mom is usually ready for it. -T
One day she was in the "backwards" mood

Some days she's in the "front to sideways, not even on" mood
But typically when she is in the mood to wear one, it's backwards
Yeah, she looks tough here, but don't let her fool you, sometimes...
...she looks like this!
I guess the hat compromised her vision and she ran into the end table which ended up in a scrape to the foot
So in seeking comfort, I guess sometimes she's also in the mood to eat shoes
Hopefully after the trauma, she'll be in the mood to wear a hat again.
