Lindsey Line

I told you in "The First Post" that I would put in "Lindsey Lines" as they came. They are probably in a lot of cases a "had to be there" moment, but my wife is really so funny. Here's tonight, watching a movie with baseball in the plot:

Lindsey: So if a batter gets hit, they get to go to first base?
Todd: Yeah.
Lindsey: Well, what if the batter hits the pitcher in the neck!?
(Like we saw happen to the Braves' pitcher on Wed.)

Death to Mr. Mole

We have major mole problems in our back yard. There are probably more back there, but the fact is I caught my first mole! I actually sliced his hind end off, but Lindsey did a good job of eliminating that from the pictures. I am flexing in this picture because when my dad caught his mole a couple years ago, he did the same pose. I actually secretly hope there are more moles because WOW...what an adrenaline rush! -T

Settling In

Now, we are enjoying the married life...a lot! We love our new home even with the reality of finding out that houses are high maintenance. I love cutting the grass though and Lindsey loves having a big yard to begin her newfound gardening hobby. It's a lot of fun to come home to a beautiful wife everyday! -T

Honeymoon

We went on our honeymoon to sunny San Diego! Although the weather report called for rain most of it, it hardly rained at all and it was actually very sunny. We had a great time. We went to In 'N Out Burger (my first time), the beach, the zoo, the wild animal park, the temple, the pool, Sea World, and had an awesome hot air balloon ride. Good times! Oh and I didn't even mind missing the National Championship Game (don't worry I still saw One Shining Moment)...Carolina 2009 National Champs!-T

Hitched...finally!

We got married on April 3, 2009 at the Jordan River Temple. Our beautiful spring wedding was "freakin' cold." We checked the 10-day forecast 10 days in advance and it said 59 and Sunny. By the time the 10 days rolled around to THE day it was 30 and rainy/snowy. It was still a great day and even though our "you may kiss the bride" was WEAK, it was a great day! Oh, and our cake was awesome! -T

The First Post

Heyyyy! This is our first post for our family blog...which right now consists of just the two of us. When we have time though, we'll fill you in on our story up to this point and then into the future. We'll try to be entertaining. Maybe we should even have a totally separate blog entitled "Lindsey Lines" because those are entertaining all by themselves, but we'll try just this one for now with "Lindsey Lines" mixed in.
