Busting Out the Snow Suit

With Aunt Jackie and Aunt Kylee at our house, and a snowstorm that had come, it was a perfect time to bust out Mae's snowsuit.  She was a little unsure about the suit and even more unsure about the snow. -T

It was good that I shoveled this one row of snow on the driveway so she had somewhere to walk where she wasn't scared

Annual Family Picture

We took our annual "picture between the bushes."  Last year almost all the leaves had fallen off.  We blamed basketball season.  This year, the leaves seemed to go from green to brown and skipped the pretty red.  This was by far the ugliest the bushes looked for this picture. -T

This was the nicest we dressed in the 4 years we've taken this picture and is it just me or did the camera add about 50lbs on me?

Conference Weekend

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for Saturday's sessions of General Conference.  We got some out of it, but we did enjoy ourselves and Mae of course had a good time. The girls also enjoyed their time with Grandma Great. -T



We chose to try and take a nap between sessions, Mae had other plans




Maybe this will inspire her to want to cut our grass soon

A Gift from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came over and Grandpa tilled our old "garden" and planted grass.  He also moved dirt from our weed box (it was probably a garden with the previous owner) into our small concrete pool of leaves (we're not really sure what it is).  Mae helped...more or less. -T

I don't know how to describe this thing - it's basically our leaf collector.  Lindsey has wanted dirt in it for about 4 years now

Firing Up the Pit

We did our first fire pit outing in the backyard since Anna was born.  Come to think of it, it might be our first to include Mae as well.  She liked helping her dad bring the wood for the fire, and she liked blowing on the fire.  She enjoyed her first experience with roasting marshmallows.  We all had a fun time. -T
