Spending Time With Dad

With it being basketball season, Mae and I don't get to spend the kind of time we'd like together, but we do enjoy the times that we do. -T

Sometimes we take naps together - sometimes Mom takes her out of my arm without me knowing
And my arm just stays there as if she still is
We play the piano together, and if you're wondering, my back was just aching - my posture isn't typically this good

I think she's just wondering what on earth is going on here
And maybe here as well - or just a dirty look

I think she knows she's cute

NOW we're just having fun!
I almost got her to kiss me, however she is a MASTER licker

Signs of Things to Come

We're slowly seeing Mae's personality. Here is our first prediction for our oldest daughter:

Mae at Age 3: "Mom. Dad. I think it's time you buy me a cell phone."

Pictures don't lie... -T

"If you'll just be so kind as to give me ONE hand guys!"
Mmmmhmm

This is her "I can't believe so and so likes so and so" face
At least she will be a good listener as well

Turning 1!

Mae turned 1 (month - for those of you who thought you lost a bunch of time)! Well, there's not much else to say except - how cute is our baby!? -T

I have no comments for these - they speak for themselves

Family Raking

Our yard was long overdue for a rake job (slash lawn mower job). So, the four of us - Lindsey, Mae, Chicco, and I - took on the task of a mountain of leaves. Our front yard is small, but that was definitely the thickest. We had a good time though! SOMEBODY (Mae) kept wanting to take breaks though...c'mon Girl! -T

Let's get to work!

Our poor neighbors and their clean yard have to put up with us

She's a trooper

Having Chicco's help was very beneficial
Mae used Chicco as sunglasses

Our happy little family
It's really hard to get us all in with the leaf pile as well - sorry Mae and Chicco, this was the best I could do
Mae really does have a face - promise

See
Sometimes Mae took too many breaks
This is me pulling her out from hiding from the work
Then she just wanted to act like she did it all herself
No bigger than a leaf almost

What Lindsey Does During Conference Call Presidency Meetings?

Have you ever wondered what Lindsey ACTUALLY does during primary presidency meetings that are over the phone? See for yourself... -T

Well at least she gets some good shots!

Yea for cute babies!

Yea for cool babies!

Yea for smiling babies!

Yea for laughing babies!

Yea for calm babies!

Yea for sleeping babies!
Yea for Mae!
"I hope this suffices for awhile to all those out there who want to see my picture so badly. I'm sick of flashes in my eyes in all honesty so it better be!"

First Bath in the "Tub"

So it turns out, Mae loves baths! Her first "bath tub" experience ended up being a success! -T
It seems as if she was a little unsure of it at first
Is it just me or is she totally posing for this picture?
Oh...this girl is LOVIN' life!
I could be wrong, but I think she wants back in

Happy Halloween!

Mae's first Halloween! We weren't "those people" though and didn't take her trick-or-treating, a.k.a. using our children for personal gain (candy). We had good family time instead. -T

She's a basketball!
"Dad! Seriously, stop trying to be funny!"

Oh right...she's a pumpkin! Thanks Aunt Laurie!

Big "yawn" for Grandma!

"Hey Grandpa! Is there a cute baby on that piece of paper? Otherwise I can't imagine why you're not looking at me staring at you!"
Burped by Grandpa
"Thank you, Grandpa...now, just give me a second...burping is like a massage for babies and I am very relaxed."
"I think Mom and Dad made a mistake giving me sugar already."

"Sugar...is...AWESOME!"

"I WANT MORE SUGAR!"

"Sugar! It does a baby body good! Or is it chocolate?"

"If Dad were ever on Dancing With The Stars, I wanna say he'd have a goofy picture that looks kind of like this (minus with me)."

Look at my cute Halloween girls...
"Seriously...how many pictures can you take of me in this outfit? Mom...I need something to wash down the sugar...you got somethin'?"
"Typical Mom...always instigating."
This girl loves football...Lindsey told me they get A.D.D. if they watch TV too young...so here's me avoiding Mae's potential A.D.D.
