Lucky 7 Months

Mae hit the 7 month mark on May 13th - FRIDAY May 13th...oooooooh! It didn't turn out to be bad luck thankfully. -T

Still "hoo hooing" at 7 months
Still happy at 7 months

It's not still easy to keep her from grabbing the sign at 7 months though
And now she has become very pensive at just 7 months

But yes, still "hoo hooing" at 7 months

Still having fun and making us laugh at 7 months
Not walking at 7 months
Not quite crawling either...but it's CLOSE!
Grabbing, pinching, hurting very nicely at 7 months

And still letting us know when she is done with her monthly photo shoots

Fun in Dad's Chair

Mom got some shots of Mae sitting in my office chair. The video, despite sideways, cracks us up. Her legs look like they are moved by a puppet's string. -T

Just chillin'...
...and havin' fun.
Sideways, but still funny (at least to us)

Mae's Weapon

You've seen two other posts involving Mae's weapon, a.k.a her awesome sucking toy. Just pop a piece of fruit in there and life is good for the next 10 minutes (mess not included)! -T

It makes her so happy!

Sometimes she loves it so much she'll just suck on the non-sucking part

Losing all control with silent enthusiasm

The Shed Project - Phase 1

We need a shed. So we got some of the old gang together and started building one. Phase 1 took 3 days - not solid - Friday evening, Saturday morning, Monday evening. I didn't want to just waste the grass so I dug it up and moved it to parts of our yards that could use some. That was a body killer - roots are uncool. We, of course, had some road blocks but powered through and completed the phase. -T

No it's not done...that is our neighbors. This is just us getting started in the spot of the yard we picked

Building the 10x12 frame
Level in an unlevel yard!

Well look who it is! This is the first project she's witnessed. All other ones were designed to be done before she was born.

Fun & Games with Mom
Discovering grass

Mae...what's wrong with your face?
She loves her mom
Mom tells jokes!

Okay I'm sorry...I thought this post was about the shed.

(Sorry, Mae, it's not your fault)

I also believe she looks like her Aunt Bethany here

Thank you, Mae! Thank you for trying to focus Mom on the reason we're out here

Finished Frame

Saturday morning and once again, it turns into a Mae photoshoot
Mae again trying to help Mom out on what she's supposed to be taking pictures of
Lindsey got started on weeding and putting sod down in some spotsNow we're making progress

Additional pieces for extra support
This is where we had to stop because the 4x8 pieces of plywood for the floor were only 3" 11.5'x8...need time to regroup

We figured it out and were able to move forward to finishing Phase 1

Uh oh...Mae has her weapon back

If we stopped here...this would be a GREAT dance floor?

Phase 1 Complete!

I Often Go Walking

Mom's first Mother's Day! In a day that celebrates mom's and their greatness, the day was filled with many great mom's. It was a full day that we enjoyed very much. We left our house early and went to Grandma Gayle's ward, had lunch over there, came home (I did our ward's finances), went to Grandma Weez's with Great Grandpa/Uncle Dale, and later Beth and her family. Full but fun. -T

Guess who promised to be cute for Mother's Day!?

4 Generations
At least Lindsey looks at our camera

At least Grandma Gayle looks at our camera

Looks like Mae has an ol' pal here
So Mae killed her first zebra...

...and then got caught literally red-handed with the murder weapon.
Once they confiscated her weapon, she had to eat fruit without it.

Here's Mae and Grandma Weez('s knees)

Mae and Cameron entertaining the mothers and everyone else

As we just witnessed, these two apparently our quite fond of each other

Happy Mother's Day from the Cincinnati Grandkids (and me apparently)!

Randomly Great

We had some random shots that I have compiled into one post because it saves time. We might get a Lindsey sighting in this post. -T

So about twice a day..I knock this nest down. This is under our bedroom window. I'm not allowed to knock down the two under Mae's window, but I drew the line under ours. This picture shows they have added onion grass to their building. That makes it even harder to knock down.
So what do you think each of them are thinking exactly?
Well if this is what it was...this can't be a good idea.
Story by Lindsey
COMING SOON!!!
(Lindsey...enter story here)

Oh yes! Well not much of a story except that during yet another one of those April Showers days of Mae being stuck inside the same old (wonderful, beautiful) house with the same old (tring to make things fun) mom, NOTHING could cheer her up. Nothing was stimulating enough I guess. UNTIL... I was so desperate I took her into the new & exciting, rarely before seen: guest room. A bunch of new sights and even smells because this is where we store the scented candles! Here are the results!

She can eat her feet now! Wow...I tried to do this the other day...it didn't happen.

Look how cute and relaxed my girls are...but I think someone has taken my spot.

What the...? Who sleeps like this?

I love headbands

We hope soon she'll grow into her hands.
