Honoring Our Silver Beaver (featuring Mae)

Mae insisted we go support Grandpa in receiving the Silver Beaver Award so off to Great American Ballpark we went. Just in case you're wondering what this award is... "The Silver Beaver Award is the council level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. It is given to those who do not actively seek it." Anyway, we enjoyed going and of course, all eyes were on the little girl with blue eyes. Lindsey likes to tell this story: Todd: How do you know those girls? Lindsey: I don't. Todd: I mean the ones you were talking to. Lindsey: I don't know them. Todd: What do you mean? You were JUST talking to them. Lindsey: Oh, they were telling me how cute my baby was. That's not 100% accurate, but Lindsey is a good story-teller so we'll keep it that way. -T

Nice! Let's have a "Who can eat the most brats" contest and who can be the champion of that!

Love that Aunt Kylee
