Santa Claus is Coming to Church

We went to our Ward Christmas party where Santa was in the house.  She seemed excited before we went but once we got there Mae wanted no part of Santa or his lap.  Anna started crying at the very very end, but not before we got some good pictures.  She was enthralled with Santa's beard though and liked grabbing it.  Mae still tells the story of "Santa.  Lap.  NO!"  She also includes "Candy candy" which was the candy cane she received afterwards.  She was willing to give Santa a high five when he offered it, and she actually did get up on his lap for like 2 seconds when someone put her up there, but she started to cry so that was the end of that.  But like I said, it made for a good story which she continues to like to tell. -T
