Celebrating 400 Deja vu!

After getting to Celebrate Papa D's 400th career victory last year, I was able to go be a part of Coach Reynold's (my high school coach) 400th career victory celebration.  The night was actually planned to be a all former players reunion night, but it just so happened it was his 400th victory as well.  What are the odds?!    Aunt Kylee and Aunt Jackie watched the girls and Lindsey and I went for the festivities.  Lindsey didn't take advantage of the free Skyline afterwards.  Texans! -T

Decembering Anna at 6 Months

Anna survived a 1/2 of a year!  The most challenging part of these is not getting her to smile, it's getting Mae out of the chair and off the blanket.  We still consider this month another success with pictures though.  Although Anna is now noticing the sign and wanting to grab it so things will begin to get more challenging. -T

It didn't take long for her to start crankin' out the smiles.

Mae helped get a lot of Anna smiles, but she wants on that blanket/chair very badly!

Arrive at Five (Months)

Anna hit her 5 month mark.  The months just keep rolling along.  We wished every month was as easy as 5 months was.  The smiles just kept on coming! -T

Mae was doing a really good job getting Anna to smile - sometimes a little TOO good.

We really liked 5 months as we got so many smiles!

Apparently we need to be more specific when we say, "Mae, hold the sign." 

That's better, but now we have to get Anna to smile on our own.

Anna at Four (Months)

Our baby is getting bigger (mostly longer).  Anna turned 4 months and continues to be happy and healthy. -T

Officially Two

On Mae's official birthday (which was luckily a Saturday), we started the festivities early.  Lindsey put candles in her bread at breakfast, which she was fine with.  Grandma, Grandpa, and Grandma Great came over for lunch festivities (we had a reception to go to in the evening).  She enjoyed all the great gifts she got, but she did lose it when the ice cream cake was put in front of her.  We don't think it was the flames, we think it might have been the whipped cream (which she had a traumatic experience with Grandma and whipped cream a few weeks back.  We don't really know.  What we do know is that she got over it and it was a great day. -T
