We decided to get a new chair for the living room for multiple reasons: 1) It provided an extra seat in that room, 2) It's always good to have a rocking chair for when you have kiddos and 3) Every man needs a recliner. Sounds great, huh? Well it was except for making room for it. I am pretty sure we through out 47 different scenarios of what to do. We finally came up with one that was surely the only way it could possibly be. When the chair arrived...things took a turn for the worst. Dad: "It looks like you just plopped a chair right in the middle of the room." This is AFTER I had moved all the furniture around including a love seat, a couch, and a piano among other things. So, then someone had the bright idea to move the piano to the family room. It looked terrible in there. We finally came up with something that worked - we think. THIS is surely the only way it can possibly be. -T
The Before
This is how it originally was. It is very sentimental to Lindsey as it is still in the position of when we were married.
And from the other side of the room
Take a look at the furniture yourself - what can you come up with?
The AfterIf you take a good hard look at what was done. Does anything stick out to you?
If you said, "There is only one major piece of furniture that changed spots," you would be correct!
After tons of measuring, and moving around, and measuring, and moving around, all we did was move the small, very light cabinet by the TV, and then the love seat in its place. THAT'S IT! I'll just say I got a couple days of extra exercise.
